Bengaluru: The stage is set for the much-anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 Auction, which will take place on Sunday, December 15, in Bengaluru. This year’s auction will witness 120 talented players competing for selection across the league’s five franchises, promising excitement for cricket fans worldwide.

The WPL 2025 auction features a pool of 120 players, including:
- 91 Indian players
- 29 international stars, with three emerging talents from Associate Nations.
The auction pool comprises:
- 30 capped players (9 Indian, 21 overseas).
- 90 uncapped players (82 Indian, 8 overseas).
Franchise Retentions and Remaining Slots
With most teams retaining their core squads, the auction will fill 19 remaining slots, including 5 for overseas players.

- Gujarat Giants: ₹4.4 crore
