New Delhi, November 9, 2025 – The stage is set for a thrilling Grand Final at the YSCL Nationals 2025. The Karnataka Champs and AP Superstars have punched their tickets to the final after delivering two vastly different but equally impressive performances in their respective semi-final matches at the Yamuna Sports Complex.
While Karnataka secured their spot with an explosive batting display on November 8, AP Superstars advanced today with a clinical, bowling-led chase.
Semi-Final 1: Karnataka Champs vs. Ranchi Tigers
In a breathtaking show of power-hitting, the Karnataka Champs stormed into the final with a massive 102-run victory over the Ranchi Tigers.
The star of the show was undoubtedly Gaurav Chaudhary, who played one of the tournament’s most memorable innings. Chaudhary blasted an incredible 109 runs off just 40 balls, an innings studded with 10 fours and 8 sixes, at a staggering strike rate of 272.50. He was ably supported by Bharath M, who scored a quick-fire 71 off 45 balls. Their partnership propelled the Karnataka Champs to an imposing total of 245/6 in their 20 overs.
In response, the Ranchi Tigers were unable to match the required run rate, finishing their 20 overs at 143/7. Aryan Sharma was the lone fighter with 44 runs. For Karnataka, Jasnoor Khurana was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3 wickets.
Semi-Final 2: AP Superstars vs. UP Roarers
In today’s second semi-final, the AP Superstars booked their place in the final with a dominant 7-wicket win over the UP Roarers, built on a superb bowling performance.
After winning the toss and electing to field, the AP Superstars’ bowlers dismantled the UP Roarers’ batting lineup. Amarvir Singh was the chief destroyer, taking 4 wickets for just 19 runs in his 3 overs. He was perfectly complemented by Vishal Yadav, who registered exceptional figures of 3 wickets for 15 runs in his 4-over spell, restricting the Roarers to 127 all out in 19.3 overs.
The chase was a calculated and professional affair. Openers Rituraj Rana (50 off 46) and Raman Koyale (46 off 44) laid a rock-solid foundation, ensuring there were no hiccups. The AP Superstars comfortably reached the target, scoring 133/3 in just 17.4 overs to secure their victory.
