New Delhi, November 20, 2024

Star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson has been appointed captain of the Kerala cricket team for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024, following his extraordinary form in recent international outings. Samson, who smashed three centuries in his last five T20Is, will lead Kerala in the prestigious domestic T20 tournament scheduled from November 23 to December 15.

Kerala’s Leader and Samson’s Explosive Form

Samson’s scintillating performances for India in back-to-back T20I series against Bangladesh and South Africa earned him this leadership role.
